Ella Gonchar is a Los Angeles based artist whose work explores memory, identity, and connection through the language of adornment, gesture, and intimate space. Drawing from personal experience and the way she moves through the world, her paintings focus on the emotional weight carried by garments, objects, and small lived moments. 

Working primarily in oil, she approaches painting as a way to hold onto fleeting sensations and relational experiences. Her images treat memory as something physical and embodied, carried through touch, ritual, and everyday gestures. 

Alongside her studio practice, Ella works as an illustrator and visual creative, bringing the same attention to detail and storytelling to commercial and collaborative projects.
